At Spring Gardens, we work hard to provide a safe, happy and responsible community in which your child can enjoy learning and be valued as a unique individual. We want the time your child spends here to be a positive experience, which encourages a love of learning. We also recognise the key to making the most of your child’s time with us is a shared responsibility between school and home. We offer regular meetings and opportunities for you to share and enjoy your child’s experiences and their educational journey!

The doctors’ surgery has been very busy this week. The nursery children have been performing operations and giving medicine to the babies.
You will spot something new at our school office the next time you pop into school 👀 We love reading at SGPS and we wanted to share that joy with everyone 🥰 Enjoy a book while you wait for a meeting or pick one up to enjoy at home 📚 Simply bring it back when you’re finished so others can enjoy it too 👍🏼 I’d like to say a big thank you to our lovely staff who helped to put this book basket together 💛 We hope you like it! 😊🥋The children asked……so we listened! At the end of last year a number of children expressed interest in us running a Judo club after school…….SO we would like to introduce Steven from the Schools Judo Initiative who came to deliver a ‘taster’ of what Judo is about in our assembly today! Steven will be delivering an after school club on Thursdays after half term, and possibly after Christmas if interest is high! The 6 session course is £24. All children who are interested received a letter today (spares are at our office) and simply need to return them to school with their money to secure their place! 🥋😊
Today was the BEST DAY EVER according to our Year 3 children 😀 They became Stone Age people for the afternoon, carving tools and weapons around the fire pit 🔥 Of course they needed to do some ‘cooking’ on the fire too… toasting marshmallows was the perfect tasty treat 😋
